In 1977, a group of severely disturbed adolescents are incarcerated in a new psychiatric institution known as, 'The Unit', in Edinburgh. 27 years later, the ex-patients, now middle-aged, are dying, suffering horrific violence, or experiencing other disturbing events. Why?
